Financial assistance is available three ways:
Using the sliding scale fee: We offer a sliding scale fee for almost all our offerings (e.g., between $50 and $90 for our Days of Mindfulness). Those choosing to pay on the low end of the scale automatically receive some scholarship funds, while those paying on the high end of the scale automatically contribute some scholarship funds. You do not have to apply for a scholarship when choosing a registration option toward the low end of the scale.
Self-Selected Scholarships: For some of our classes we offer a limited number of self-selected scholarships for those in greater financial need. Instead of going through an application process, participants simply sign themselves up for this type of scholarship online. Please note: Due to the limited number of self-selected scholarships available per class/retreat, etc., they are only offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applied-for Scholarship Assistance: Is the sliding scale and self-selected scholarship tuition still outside of your budget? we do have limited additional scholarship funds available. Instead of registering for the event, submit an online scholarship application. We'll review your application and let you know if we can accommodate your request. Special consideration is given to military veterans, alumni of our classes and retreats, and those in greatest financial need.
We encourage alumni of our programs to keep their practice fresh by joining us for Days of Mindfulness and longer retreats. To this end:
We hope that alumni who can afford to will continue to select registration options higher on the sliding scale fee to help Mindfulness Northwest continue to make reduced-fee options available to those in most need.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch. Our Contact Page will tell you how to do that.
