 Mindfulness-Based Habit Change - Live Online

Anxiety? Procrastination? Stress Eating?
Do you feel stuck in patterns that keep you from living your life?

In the chaos of our everyday lives, we often run on auto-pilot finding ourselves caught in unhealthy habit patterns such as overeating, spending endless time online, getting angry or stuck in worrying thoughts. 

This 6-session course is based on the work of psychiatrist and neuroscience researcher Judson Brewer, MD, PhD., and integrates both ancient wisdom and new learnings from neuroscience.  Learn more about Dr Jud and his innovative program here.

Mindfulness-Based Habit Change introduces you to a step-by-step approach:

  • Identifying triggers and becoming aware of our habit loops
  • Bringing mindfulness to our experience to explore the results of our actions
  • Tuning-in to the effects of healthy, life-sustaining habits
  • Discovering freedom of choice based on our experience

Our time together will be interactive, with discussion and breakout groups, journaling, meditations, readings, goal setting and reflections. Participants will receive materials for daily home practice including guided meditations, articles, reflections, journal prompts and links to other videos. We will also ask that participants access the free version of one of three of Dr. Brewer's Habit Change apps. Purchase of the apps is welcome, but is not required. Instructors: 

Robin Boudette, PhD., is a clinical psychologist and certified mindfulness instructor, having practiced yoga and mindfulness for nearly 20 years. She is a member of the teaching team at Mindfulness Institute at Jefferson University Hospital, working with Judson Brewer, MD PhD offering evidence-based mindfulness interventions for habit change and heading up the Behavior Change Facilitator Training Program.

Lish Dorosin, M.Ed., has been an educator, community builder, and mindfulness practitioner for over 20 years. Trained by Dr. Jud Brewer as a Behavior Change Facilitator, Lish has taught in this capacity at the University of California at San Francisco Osher Center for the past four years. She is a qualified mindfulness instructor and now serves as a retreat manager and trainer at the Insight Retreat Center.  

Cost:  $505 - $270   Sliding Scale Tuition. 

Payment plans are also available during registration  (four equal monthly payments; no financing fee).
